Nicholas

The weather has been gorgeous for about two weeks now.  Trying to stay focus on school work with the kids.  It sure is hard when it is so nice outside.  On our walk yesterday we bought a bag of apples on the side of the road.  They are really great apples Macintosh and Cortland.  Yummy!!  Today we took Nicholas to the hospital for an out-patient visit for an EEG (it's a brain scan) for sign of brain activity HA HA HA!!! actually to see if there is any abnormalities.  If so he will need to be on his meds for another year.  But if all is normal then we will be able to wean him off.  Right now he is on 25mg per pill which he takes 4 a day, two in the morning and two in the evening.  My walks are wonderful now that Tim is going on them with me in the afternoons mostly.  We usually walk for at leat and hour if not more.  I also still do aerobics for an hour at 6:00 am.  It's getting harder to get up that early especially since I don't do day care anymore.  Sometimes I've been getting up at 6:30 leaning into 7:00.  Ouch!!  It really kills my day when I get up so late. Tim today but a built in desk unit into the toy, school room, music room, play room, and now my computer and the kids school can all fit.  Only two kids can sit at the table with out them getting upset that the other one touched him or her.  Oh the joys of siblings.  They actually get along very well and play a lot with each other.  Mostly because they have no one else to play with.  I kind of like that.  Once in a while we have friends over but not much.   Anyways you all who read and don't respond I love you and have a great day.

Ministry

My first week of school didn't go as I had planned but it did go as God had planned.  We started school on Monday and then I had a women friend who called and need help to get the hospital (45 min. away) every day this week and possibly next week as well.  So for 4-6 hrs.  I spent with her at the hospital for treatments due to a surgery she had done.  It was very draining emotionally but we had a lot of good talks about the Lord and how he is the sustainer of life.  Friday was co-op and the games we did for drama was so funny.  I taught them the invisible ball which gets the actors to use their imaginations and to observe their surroundings.  We went over the script and picked out cast parts.  The kids were great and seem really eager to learn lines already.  I told them they will get to that and the games we play will help to cultivate the ability to memorize the lines to act them and dramatize as well.  I don't need to take my friend to the dr.'s this next week so we will be able to fully home school without any interuptions Praise the Lord!!!  I love home schooling.  Today we had our missionaries the Klansek from Romania visiting.  They came last night to our church hay ride and chili fest with sausage sandwiches, hot dogs, chips, and corn muffins.  We also had a bon-fire with hot chocolate, and many desserts.  The message last night and today in all three services were fantastic.  He is a great missionary speaker.  Our fellowship with them and 4 of their 5 children ( there only boy didn't come he stayed with friends).   Well looking forward to tomorrow to see what the Lord has in store for me.

Wow!!!

My summer is officially over.  Day care left on Friday the 24th so no more day care.  Sunday evening we took my nephew back to Maine to his grandparents home.  On the way we stopped in Rowley Mass. to visit my brother and his wife.  We had a great time visiting.  Then it was on to Maine.  Stayed there for three days and then it was on to Bar Harbor.  We had such a great time with just us the Hamilton's.  I love camping with my kids.  We did so much hiking I actually had sore quad muscles.  Wow it looks like I need to work them a little more than what I have been doing.  Need to walk more hills and climb more stairs.  We arrived back to New York Saturday the 1st.  On Friday was our son Michaels 19th birthday and Saturday was our daughter Julia's 8th birthday.  It always amazes me how time goes by so quickly.  Now we are getting ready for our friends whom we have known in Alaska and has moved to Michigan that are coming in for a few days on their vacation.  It will be great to get to talk and see them again.  We haven't seen them since last summer when we went to Jeremiah's ordination.  Well as soon as I down load my pictures I will post them.  Now I need to get some sleep and get ready to teach tomorrow.  Our friends the Mitchells will be visiting and speaking in our services tomorrow and having a BBQ with our church family and the Covert Baptist Church.  You all have a great day and week.  Monday I will be getting ready for our home school co-op.  I'm going to try and do a drama team this year and will see how that goes.  We all will be learning new things in this class.  Then getting school work planned for the kids.  It sure seems like I just get busier and busier every year or is it just me.  Oh well.  I don't mind.

VBS

We just finished our VBS and Carnival this past week and weekend.  We had a great attendance.  I didn't get any pictures because I was so involved in both (teaching and running one of the booths[this little light of mine].  I had a great time.  We had Mark, Tims younger brother, and his son Nathan with us on Friday through Sunday morning and then Tims older brother Dave and his wife Brenda and there youngest son Brian came for a visit Saturday until Monday afternoon.  It was a great weekend.  Last weekend we went to New Jersey for Tim's parents 50th anniversary.  All their kids sent them on a cruise for 7 days.  It was a christian cruise to Cape Cod.  They had a great time and when they got home we threw them a party.  I have a hard time believing that  Tim and I will celebrateing  25 years in just two short years.  WOW.  Thats the latest news.  Have a great week.
